Uniform Policy 2024-2025
Families have again voted for students to wear uniforms for the coming school year. The uniform consists of a light blue shirt/blouse and navy blue pants or skirt. Uniforms are available at Children’s Place, Target, Old Navy and other stores. You can also purchase PS 503 Logo shirts and hoodies from the PTA. Order forms are available in the Main Office.

Bridges Family Support Page - This resource includes information about our school's Bridges Curriculum, including the Math Units of Study on each grade. All resources are available in English & in Spanish.

Math At Home Page - This website includes activities, organized by grade, that uses familiar routines you can do at home with your child. They are available in both English and Spanish.
Technology Family Workshop
The Technology Family Workshop shares information about the Technology at PS 503. Families attended to learn more about how to manage device usage to ensure digital safety online. Parents also explored the apps students K-5 have access to and how to monitor their homework assignments.

Each year, we offer a Family Workshop about the Bridges Mathematics Curriculum at PS 503. Families attended to learn more about how math is taught on their child's grade and to learn strategies for helping with homework. Check out the slides for each grade level to learn more!
Literacy Family Workshop
Our Literacy Family workshop shared the curriculum PS 503 uses for literacy instruction. All students Kindergarten through 5th grade follow HMH Into Reading, including dual language students. Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade use Really Great Reading to support phonics and foundational skills. Students in 3rd grade through 5th use iReady Reading to provide differentiated instruction and targeted practice. Check out the slides to learn more.
